Satisfaisant mais bruyant

La salle de bain, le p'tit déjeuner TB, le personnel très sympathique et accueillant.

La chambre vieillotte, le lit mériterait un rajeunissement. Le bruit venant du pub ne permet pas d'aérer la chambre !

Won’t go back

I can’t answer as our stay was a disappointment.

The badly stained bedding, the broken handle on the shower, the stain at the bottom of the toilet pedestal, the two screws left in the wall with a dirty mark showing the shape of the long mirror that used to hand there. Odd mugs, tired appearance of room. Attitude of original receptionist when I questioned we had the right room as it was not as described in booking. Attitude of lead receptionist on day of leaving when I insisted I had a refund for first night considering the situation. She wasn’t interested as my booking was through Booking.com so that was up to me to get in touch with them.

Good location, friendly staff, good breakfast

The room could have been cleaner and it felt very unloved - broken lamp, broken kettle, curtains hanging off the rail. I couldn't open the curtains properly, but once I saw the view (a derelict yard) I wasn't too sorry.

Pleasantly surprised. Maybe not the best room but served it’s purpose

The manager and staff are trying really hard to make the hotel a success. A couple of small changes and this hotel would be amazing. The staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and there was enough space.

We did not have breakfast as you were not able to provide a vegan choose. My wife walks with a stick and was unable to use the hand rail almost every time as the smokers on the front step wouldn’t move when we asked. The smokers were also a bit off putting for the image of the hotel. Maybe a smoking area could be arranged.

it was near enough to the bus and train station to travel to the gig I was going to see.

Hotel is in an ideal location

Not the best of showers, water was just coming out warm in room 114 and the bath was making bubbling noises I guess with other people having showers in the rooms above us.

Very good

Nice clean well appointed room. Friendly, welcoming staff. We'll situated for my needs.

A little too warm for my liking with no way of controlling the temp in the room without opening a window whoch then let's in too much noise from the local drinking establishments, other than that no complaints, would definitely stay again.

Very relaxing short break in central Aberdeen.

Perfect location, very central. Rooms well decorated and excellent bathroom! Huge bath and great shower. Our room was located at the front of the hotel, which is a busy street, but we heard no noise from outside.

We upgraded to a junior suite. Bed was a bit too firm and larger chair in our suite needs new cushions (padding). Breakfast was ok but not a huge amount of choice for the money and the quality of things like the sausages and black pudding were average. The continental options were also very limited.
