The location is great with a car, one of the best sand beaches and one of the best cretan restaurants are close. The young boy at the reception is super friendly and helpful. The pool has a great view and not crowded.
You hear a lot of airport activity, airplanes of all kind but you hear them around many places in Crete.

Good location very good and friendly stuff, especially the ladies they clean, nice view from our suite very good swimming pool, I will highly recommend this place but without breakfast!!
The breakfast it was a disaster!!!! ( very limited choices and not fresh bakery and fruit and very low quality of food and juice!!)

The hotel location in Kalathas is very good, provided you have a car. It is approx. 6 min walking to the sandy beach Kalatha Beach with wonderful water and set of 2 chairs and umbrella for EUR 20/day. Very nice openair pool in the hotel with sea water. The room service ladies were very friendly and always smiling.
We had a very nice sea view from our "round-tower" suite with amazing sunsets every evening. This was the best!
If you like very close contact with the nature this suite is for you, but you must be prepared for ants, mosquitos and huge cockroaches. This was the only negative experience and probably valid for ground level location.
