The hotel was easy to find with plenty of parking. Our room was upgraded and was lovely with a superb bed. Ensuite really nice with a powerful shower and lots of little extras such as a sewing kit, comb, toothbrush, shower cap etc. together with a generous helping of toiletries. We had a lovely meal in the evening and the breakfast was well catered for. We had the traditional english breakfast which was very nice and hot as well. Plenty of other choices for breakfast as well.
There wasn't anything we didn't like.

We attended a wedding at the hotel so staying overnight was very convenient. Food was great, service good and staff generally friendly and helpful. Lovely grounds, very scenic.
Building in general was too hot, and room was hot even with the window open all day and night. No temperature control in room.
A bit disappointing that as we were attending a wedding and had said from the start that we would arrive midday that there was no option to check in early or even a spare room to quickly get changed in other than the toilets.
