The owner is so lovely and helpful, excellent location. The rooms are old but have evey thing you need and are absolutely spotlessly clean.

Really lovely Host, nothing is to much trouble, excellent location, only 10mins walk through a very pretty park to the town. Nice breakfast. Altogether a very lovely personal experience. Definitely recommend.
Be careful with the shower, the water gets extremely hot at times.

The sycamore guest house was so,so beautiful and so,so clean breakfast was fantastic the gentleman owner was so,so lovely and always made sure you had everything you needed and was so helpful his wife was so,so lovely too and cooked a fantastic breakfast there was plenty breakfast to choose from i would highly recommend the sycamore guest house

The staff were very nice and accommodating, the breakfast was ok , it was an ideal location to walk to the centre alonh the River .
The room we were given, really needed updating and extremely small ,we felt very claustrophobic, the en-suite was very small and the shower pressure was extremely poor , the wash basin was in the room not in the en-suite which was very difficult to do personal care in one place , when you have 2 people sharing . For the cost of the room / breakfast we expected more , than being put up 4 flights of stairs in an Attic,,we booked well in advance of our stay to be put in the Attic exhausting. The host was really lovely but our stay very disappointing
