Charming quirky little hotel down a side alley with wonderful friendly and welcoming staff. Perfectly located for the biennale. Our room was comfortable, quiet and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Great and convenient location for a visit to the biennale. Close to restaurants and shops but quiet at the same time.Staff was friendly and welcoming and very accommodating. Breakfast is good, rooms nicely decorated and comfortable.
The public areas of the hotel could use a bit more TLC. Parts of the furnishings were a bit run down unfortunately, especially in the lobby. It didn’t make our stay less comfortable but would be nice to see the beautiful building a bit more cared for.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming! The young boy on the desk greeted us with the biggest smile and was so friendly and polite!
Lovely spacious room, comfortable bed, air con which was a god send in the heat wave coming back to a cold room! The location was great a lovely walk down the front about 20 mins from all the main tourist spots!
No fridge in the room, but other than that a fantastic stay!

The Hotel is definitely on the cheaper side for Venice, but you can tell why, the whole Hotel is getting tired. We actually didn't mind being a little bit away from the action on this visit as we spent a fair bit of time over on Lido, and there are a few Vaporetto stops very close by but it will take you a while to reach some of the more popular parts of Venice on either the ferry or walking. The room was clean and of an ok size but the room facilities are basic.
Having to leave your room key at the desk each time you go out no matter the time of day and they lock the front door overnight so you can't leave of your own accord - they must unlock it for you. The staff are ok, but definitely don't expect anyone to really go above and beyond here. There was a ferry strike announced for the day we were due to check out and we couldn't get any info or assistance from the staff on the desk. They actually gave us incorrect information which we thankfully managed to confirm elsewhere!
