This was our favorite hotel of our entire trip! From our initial checking interaction with the staff, to the staff in the breakfast room and the restaurant, everyone was fabulous. The room was comfortable, but not luxurious. But we did not pay a luxury price! The pub also had the best pour on a pint! The hotel is also centrally located to the bus and the town. If i every went back to Galway, i wouod stay at this hotel

I loved! that we were right on Eyre Square adjacent to Kennedy Park.. My sister and I were located in the back portion of the hotel in a twin room. I was not bothered by the music as they provided ear plugs! Our room was quaint and clean. The hotel is older. The food was wonderful both breakfast and dinner. We walked and walked as there is so much to see and experience in and around the square.

Great staff, good breakfast including vegan. Comfy bed. Staff moved us when we had an issue with our first room.
This is an old building and more of a pub/bar with rooms rather than a hotel. The rooms are clean but fairly basic, no fridge.
Our first night was in a room at the front on the 2nd floor overlooking the park. The live music goes on until 2am so don't expect an early night! More than likely you will be woken by late night or early morning revellers in the park.
We had an issue with a very annoying loud buzzy noise in the room on the afternoon we arrived. Thought it was the aircon but then thought the door hadn't locked properly. Did inform reception who offered to check it out but I said I'd get back to them as had gone quiet. Unfortunately it kicked off again at night so had to decide whether to put on the A/C or swelter - it was during the heatwave. They did move us the next day to a quieter room at the back of the hotel with no view. Massively, massively overpriced IMO but was during the festival.
While a great vegan breakfast no vegan options for lunch or dinner.
