The location of this property is amazing. It’s not the most convenient but it’s totally worth it for the experience. We had a balcony room which was well worth getting. The bed was comfortable and the room decor is nice. Staff were very friendly.
Our shower leaked a LOT. After a 3 minute shower the floor was 1cm deep in water, leaking out into the room. After seeing another review with the same comment this seems to be a long standing issue. The restaurant is ok but I would say a somewhat overpriced - we each had a tiramisu and they had both been frozen, which you could taste and also feel in the texture (plus one came out with a small piece of cling film still on top)

Loved our stay as a couple. Al Borducan is charming with that rare vintage romantic feeling. Everything is from our room to music selection in restaurant is top tier. Loved the antic furniture! The staff is nice and helpful. The restaurant has a variety in menu, so you can find almost everything, even for vegetarians as myself. The area is very quiet, especially in evenings. The views are spectacular. Can’t ask for more.

The location is amazing, absolutely stunning views. Utterly beautiful area - you can just walk into the most amazing places.
The hotel is really charming and unspoilt, but with enough modern luxury to be very comfortable.
The room was perfect for our stay. Very comfortable bed. And the balcony was incredible. We often sat out there watching the mountainside, the weather and the swifts flying beneath us.
The staff were exceptionally kind, helpful and informative. Having no Italian, we were made to feel very welcome and all staff spoke sufficient English for us to be able to communicate easily.
Breakfast was good and the restaurant meal was exceptional (really worth having).
Only thing I would have changed would be to have a jug of water in the room with a kettle or tea making facilities (but I am English.
