For the cost the accommodation was clean and tidy and staff very friendly. Decent views from roof patio

However the only down side was location. It is very far out from any bars and restaurants. You need to take a taxi or hire a car to make use of main town Albufeira. The good news is that Uber taxis are very preverlaint and good value for money. Trip from accommodation to town only £3.50 to £4.50

Relaxing, short trip to enjoy the sun

The property was gorgeous! The pool was amazing and each room has a little balcony alongside the rooftop balcony where we had breakfast both days.

The property was located on a very very steep hill which when hot can be very hard to walk up - we ended up taking many Ubers to and from the property instead

The price was reasonable and the small pool area was pleasant and private The hostess was lovely and the room was clean and tidy and looked nice despite its small size.

Location is not as nice as the photos suggest. It's on a steep hill which you have to walk up to go anywhere unless you are getting a taxi. Was a good mile or so to walk anywhere decent for food or drinks The place is noisy. The walls are thin. People coming and going through the night you can hear everything, people talking, walking about. Door opening and closing., Kept getting woken up. During the night there were atleast 3 power cuts which kept turning the AC unit off and some random alarm would sound for a while. Then when power restarted the AC makes loud beeping noises. All of these things kept us awake or kept waking us up.

Exceptional

Amazing staff, Adelina is a very cool lady, she gave clear instructions and description of the property. Very clean place, very comfortable bed, the common areas were spotless, great pool. We will definitely return. Highly recommend!

same situation I wouldn't hesitate to stay again

it was exactly what we wanted. close to where we needed to be and late arrival was not a fuss

the only negative was the entrance to park which was very tight on a steep road but the property can't do anything about that

The property is very nice, rooms are clean and lovely furnitured. There is well equiped kitchen an lovely terasse with superb view. In the backyard is a pool. The receptionist was very nice and funny.

Nothing negative comes to mind regarding this place. The only thing was one very loud english guy every night who also ate all our food from the fridge 😀

Villa Cero Albufiera

Staff excellent, On my 3 night stay, I had a malfunction on my key entry to the room. I notified by phone voice message that I was not able to gain entry to the premises or room. I called back to the property later that afternoon and was issued with another electronic key card. Not a 24hr reception

The Villa Cero property is on a steep hill. Not good for infirm patrons unless having a car. In my case the local restaurant was closed for holidays, so a 2km walk or drive was necessary for a meal. Snacks were available at local cafes

gorgeous stay Marco was lovely so helpful gorgeous and clean but nothing around it do need Uber into old town or marina!

gorgeous clean hotel everything you need. Marco was exceptionally helpful

the location was on a hill so could only go out using Uber bed uncomfortable and the lady who is scary on reception quite rude .I would stay again as the value for money is amazing and the cleaner is fab !

Brilliant place ❤

Gorgeous house, clean throughout, Adelina is lovely and had a twin room to myself complete with ensuite and private balcony/smoking area. Not what I expected from a hostel at all! Also the pool ❤

Its on a very testing hill, I now have calves of steel 🤣

Very relaxed place to stay. Spotlessly clean. Adelina was so helpful and friendly.beautiful roof terrace. Swimming pool area lovely.kitchen facilities perfect. Very peaceful area. Felt very welcome.

Fabulous place wirh great pool and views

Located in a quiet place away from the main town. 30 min walk downhill to the beach and main area.

very steep hill. you have to climb the hill to get to the main road which leads everywhere. staff not available at all times so you have to phone and the call went to voicemail the first couple of times we rang. this is a problem when your keycard stops working for the hotel and room.

we definitely visit again

the property was good and big had a swimming pool and shared kitchen and living room and rooftop very quiet and peaceful and felt like we had a lot of privacy even thought was we had a shared kitchen and living room

the mattress was a bit hard but beside that the staff were so friendly especially the son Márcos was very sweet and so welcoming also the mom and dad. gave us a lot of restaurants suggestion and told us what was nearby very helpful . the rooms were very clean was worth the price €53 for 2 nights . it is quiet isolated you will have to get an Uber which is not bad as Uber prices are very cheap and it’s is in a pretty good location as everything nearby

Superb

As I have stayed here before I had no hesitation about booking again. It is in a quiet location, about a twenty minute walk into the Old Town. It’s Very clean with a lovely pool. The room was adequate for my purpose. If travelling on my own again next year then I will always check the availability. The host is a lovely person and is there to help with anything. There is a shared kitchen if you want to prepare your own food. Personally I’m on holiday so always ate out.

The property has no problems but if you are less mobile then there is quite a steep hill to walk up.

Lovely!

nice pool area, rooftop terrace has an amazing view and is nice to sit in (maybe too hot in the summer 😉) but inside there is a nice lounge and kitchen etc for guests to use. The host, Anabela is such a nice lady so friendly and will help with everything!

Staff very kind and friendly. Atmosphere very good. Kitchen extremely good, well equipped and tidy. Communal terrace was amazing.

The property is in a quite area which is nice an peaceful. It’s a 20 minute walk from albufeira old town which is ideal for anybody that likes to keep active and get there steps in for the day. It has a lovely pool also. Adelina is such a fantastic host, she is so warming and helpful. A fantastic lady, a great character. Thank you Adelina

Everything was good value for money! We thought the mattress was a bit hard and not as soft as we are used to but it was fine! No complaints!!

it's on the hill, little further from the beach. Thankfully Bolt is cheap there, so it's not a big problem.

the lady was harsh from the first time I arrived into the building, i came earlier than i should and how did u get in? why the door was open... just ridiculous... in short the energy was not welcoming... it's the least i expected from portugal especially from the south

This lovely quirky villa puts a smile on your face. Gorgeous, quiet, relaxed and affordable!

The views from Villa Cerro are wonderful. 180º coast from the upper terrace. Attention to detail throughout the villa is enchanting and nicely surprising. The pool is perfect for a cool down during your day. And Adolina the maitre d is great with all her guests.

The hill to the main road will keep you very fit!

Very clean very homely. Was a very quiet week so we had the villa pretty much to ourselves.

Abit far from the centre but was perfect for us as we hired a scooter and the views from the terrace is definitely worth It!

Over priced.

I was welcomed into the villa there was no waiting about

The staff were abrupt and unhelpful. I booked a superior room with bath, balcony, sea view, iron, hair dryer. I got a room with a shower cubicle, no hair dryer, iron, balcony or sea view, when i asked about this i was told that they had to advertise the rooms as superior but that they actually were not, this confused me as i was still charged the superior amount. My brother arrived the day after and was charged £55 for one night in a room where there was only flimsy doors, the zircon to our room was on that small balcony, the lady tried to make him keep this room and due to his refusal she accsued hi of been drunk at 9am, my brother is rom yorkshire where the accent is strong and slow, he was certainly not drunk, he had not slept due to the noise of the air conditioning, she explained it was my air con that was making the noise and he would need to ask me to turn it off, an answer i still cannot believe. The towels were only changed every three days and this was only done because i insisted on it, they were disgusting by the time it was due to be changed, the room ws cleaned once in 9 days, this was blamed on civd bit surely to god this would be the opposite, the last smoked in the corridor, woke the whole villa up at 9am with her loud voice. You could get a lovely hotel in the centre of town for less of a price.
