Location, friendly staff, breakfast
Wasn’t we didn’t like it but the room was very quirky! No lift so not a problem if you are able to lift 20kg bags up 3 flights of stairs. People should know this in advance. It a problem for us and I enjoyed the cardio experience! x

Location is phenomenal, right in the heart of the old town; incredible view and access to all the restaurants, shops and landmarks.
I like the capsule style, but the blinds are not the best functionally - the mechanism to open/close was fiddly. On top of that the blinds I had were covered in marks, smudges etc. Looked a bit grotty. Curtains would be much better.
6 / 10Average·Apr 2026
Location was good, near to ocean and the organ. Staff were lovely. Option to store luggage before check in was good. The sleeping arrangement with blinds means it is very private for sleeping which is nice.
Despite being non-smoking there was a real smell of smoke in the corridor which seemed to seep into the room. The kitchen is tiny, if two people wanted to prep at the same time it wouldn’t work.
The rooms are tiny, and I mean tiny. There is basically no space to change. The shower room is tiny, the floor gets wet very easily when showering then you’re trying to get dressed on a wet floor. If you are in the top bunk your locker / drawer is under a ladder making it rather hard to get in and out. The access to the top bunk had rather sharp edges and the ladder itself had narrow steps which did not make for comfortable ascent / descent (and I am a fit/strong/mobile person).
