Property has a lovely peaceful garden for breakfast and to sit out in the day. Room was quiet and adequate. Breakfast was good and we were well looked after.
Booking. Com info said property was 10 minutes walk from the station. This is not possible as I walk fast and it took me 20.
However the property is only 10 minutes from the centre of the old city so a good location with the peaceful garden. Also I told Booking.com of my arrival time which did not get through to the property so we had to wait outside for 15 minutes as there was no one at the property apart from a guest who phoned the owner.

Proximity to the monuments, restaurants, etc. that we wanted to see.
Air-conditioning in extremely hot weather
Room was quite small and bathroom was cramped and extremely hot without adequate ventilation.

Ai Giardini di San Vitale was a charming B&B with a delightful staff and beautiful gardens. We had a private terrace where we could sit and relax overlooking the gorgeous gardens after a day of sightseeing. The hotel was a short walk from all the attractions and beautiful sites in Ravenna. The complimentary breakfast was also appreciated, and enjoyed in the lovely garden setting.
Fortunately our room was on the ground floor but the hotel does not have a lift, so guests with mobility issues or heavy luggage should request a room without stairs to navigate.
