I loved the spaciousness, the way it actually felt more like an apartment with its own little hallway - the bathroom and toilet being a completely different room off the hallway. This was a real ensuite luxury. The bedroom had its own mini fridge, with real small bottles of milk available from the main fridge in the dining room. It was very private, and quiet. The facilities were excellent with kettle, water, cups, glasses and lovely little extras such as chocolate mints and small biscuits to go with tea and coffee. There was also hot chocolate available in a sachet. The breakfast menu was spectacular, with many types to choose from.
Richard and Sue were so helpful in ordering me a taxi for the morning to go to the Scillonian ferry, and helping me with my suitcase.
