The location was the best for us.
We had an event to attend that was just a 15min walk from Charbonnier.
No carpet in the hallway - made for a noisy night with doors banging etc.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast made life easy. Restaurant was nice, great service, great food, very convenient. Pool area was a nice relaxed atmosphere to sit and read in peace. Room was good size and was neat and clean with microwave and fridge very handy.

No sound absorbing material in hallway, so very noisy.
No carpet in room so noise from other rooms travelled.
Curtains missing hooks so didn’t hang correctly at window creating gaps
