The location is in the heart of Begur town a stonesthrow from the main square next to the church in the centre of town. It was less than 5 minutes walk from the alloted parking space. The house is one of the old "Indian" houses (No 17 on the town tour). The hosts gave us a detailed introduction on checking in and there was a lot of reading material available detailing the house history. We had private access to a large lounge area, a very comfortable bedroom and a very well appointed bathroom and large private balcony looking over the west of the town. Despite the central position we had very little noise at night and had no problem sleeping on the comfortable bed. The breakfast each day was different highlighting local produce and cuisine. We opted for the cold buffet but were also offered hot meals. We were leaving too early on the last morning and the hosts provided us with a fine packed breakfast for the airport.
There was a slight language issue easily overcome by the hosts grandson who interpreted excellently.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour et tout particulièrement l’accueil ! Antonia et sa famille sont absolument adorables et nous ont fait sentir comme chez nous.
Le lieu a énormément de charme, notamment grâce aux magnifiques peintures anciennes conservées sur les plafonds, qui rappellent avec élégance l’histoire de cet endroit.
Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié les petites attentions d’Antonia tout au long du séjour. Et mention spéciale pour son petit déjeuner, qui est excellent !

El trato de los anfitriones fue excelente, muy cercano y siempre pendientes de todo lo que necesitábamos. Te proporcionan ayuda en todo momento para que conozcas bien la ciudad y sus alrededores, así como, medios de transporte para evitar colas interminables en las calas de la zona. La ubicación es ideal y la casa insuperable. Volveremos seguro!!!!

Breakfast was a delight, a feast for the eyes as well as the taste buds! Antonia you are a gem!
The property has been carefully and sensitively restored by the family running the business, with particular attention to original detail. The enclosed garden area is a tranquil oasis.
Our room was adequate and comfortable with the essential element of air-conditioning, very necessary at this time of the year.
If you are searching for accommodation which is immersed in history, authenticity and soul, then this is the place for you.
