Ther perfect family stopover for 3 nights on our roadtrip to Jokulsarlon from Reykjavik. Comfortable, spacious family room. Marusa, our host, was super hard working, friendly and hospitalitable.
The accomodation was warm and we enjoyed a simple but satisfying breakfast every morning. The location is perfect for exploring the Vik- Black Sand area.
Only con is no easy access for a kettle/milk to have cups of tea or coffee in evenings. A little available coffee station with kettle would be amazing!

We had a lovely stay at Volcano Hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive, and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was quite basic, though, and there was a strong smell of paint during our stay, which was unpleasant. The hotel is also quite far from the centre of Vík, so having a car is helpful. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, especially thanks to the wonderful staff.

There were three of us and the room was spacious.the place seemed new and was spotlessly clean. The food - dinner and breakfast - was very good. It was a very quit location not far from Vik. We would definitely stay there again. On of our top choices.

Paper thin wall. Room is a little warm until past midnight. It is 10min drive from Vik, with nothing around the hotel. Luckily there is breakfast.
