The location was perfect - very close to San Marco and Rialto with shops, restaurants and cafes on the doorstep.
The directions using La Piazza restaurant were very helpful.
Homely apartment with well appointed living space and comfortable beds.
The apartment was lovely but the upstairs twin bedroom was lacking for an adult (if a second adult was sleeping there, they'd have little headspace from the bed).
A bedside lamp would be handy up there.
We booked via booking.com and were communicating with a private owner initially. Shortly before arrival a property management company took over the account which meant communication was a bit fractured and confusing. Payment was direct with the property management company rather than Booking.com (I did receive an email from booking.com about this from booking.com)
Part of the pre-arrival check-in requires
the booker to agree to a contract (in Italian). I was a bit nervous about that (even with Google Translate).

There are too many stairs to the top floor. Larger luggage would be an issue.

Maybe the stairs door the apartment as there isn’t a lift but only on third floor so not that bad

Very good location!
very old and very hard mattress in the main sleeping room, the canapé-lit nearly seems to be very very old, and the bedlinen didn't look very trustworthy, it was very noisy from the surroundings because of the old windows, the kettler should be replaced because it was broken and thus very dangerous to use (you could definitely burn your skin by using it!).
