very good room

very big room and nice big bed, been on the top floor, the big arch window was amazing. the view from the big window was good, been in the centre of town, sadely there were no beer down in the bar, something im getting used to with wetherspoons, pityas they used to be good

the room was fine, just an added note of no descent beer down in the bar, wheres all the black beers in a wetherspoons, thats all, the hotel was fine

Love a good Wetherspoons hotel.

Very central.

Issue at check in. Allocated an adjoining room. When I asked for a non adjoining room the staff member told me all rooms were adjoining. This is not the case. The lady in question couldn’t be bothered to check, a simple room change would have solved the issue. Also how can they have their patios jet washed at 7.30am in the morning? Knowing it would wake up most guests?

Close to beach , lovely pub and restaurant downstairs

Noisy, uncomfortable bed was two singles pushed together massive lump down centre of bed

Lovely place to stay and eat

Nice comfy bed nice room shower was lovely very happy staying here nice place to eat all in one building friendly staff will stay again

If there's one thing I can say is would be nice to have a choice of pillows soft as well as hard apart from that I enjoyed my stay

Close to all amenities. Room clean and comfortable. Down side was a lot of stairs to climb,

Room very clean and plenty of space. Bed comfortable

As i don`t use lifts, climbing the amount of stairs a number of times a day, was quite a chore.

Lovely stay, would recommend to everyone who travels here.

Lovely room - spacious, clean, quite, warm… anything you can think of about a great stay. Staff are extremely friendly, helpful and flexible. Location is great, right next to the main bus station and 15-min walk from the train station. Plenty of taxis to hire downstair, all very friendly drivers. You need to pay extra for the food downstairs at the pub (no free breakfast), but the price is worth it.

Great 3 days at great price and weather was on our side only rained at night when we were in bed

The staff were fantastic.we were given a room to the right was to dull went to reception and the moved us to the left which is front of hotel with large windows. Anything you need is no trouble to them

The breakfast, dinner, room was so comfortable and warm

Nice to go back to after a day out

Hotel room was more than what I expected,quite a big modern room,nice. Would definitely recommend

Obviously being connected to a pub just as I’m an early sleeper I was over the beer garden you have to keep your window shut not really a massive issue

We didn't have room as requested The room we got the beds weren't comfortable and there was a loud noise all night so we couldn't sleep Not a good night

Very clean and spacious room. Very modern bathroom with nice shower. Friendly and helpful staff. No noise from downstairs bar.

Free biscuits, what's not to love!

Size of room, landing security from strays, the actual lack of noise from pub itself, the cleanliness and free biscuits... the whole place is well maintained especially considering how damn busy it gets.. First time in a spoons hotel and certainly won't be my last

The fact I had to pay to cancel a room I'd never booked in the first place upset me upon arrival. So my only gripe is with yourselves and your lack of any correspondence to my queries.

very clean comfy bed no noise considering we were over a pub. staff in the hotel and bar were very pleasant, friendly and extremely hard working
