Excellent food in the Bistro and excellent service. Very good central location. Good, modern lift to all floors. The shower room was modern and clean. This is a hotel I have stayed in before and would choose it again.
Bedroom decor looked tired and a little worn and needed some updating- the pillows on the bed were too well used and needed replacing. The breakfast coffee reminded me of hotel coffee in the 1970s - a coffee machine in the Breakfast room that guests could use and choose what type of coffee they wanted would be a huge improvement.

The bar and restaurant area are lovely, but the rooms need work, it's looking really tired. We last stayed here 10 years ago, and it seemed quite modern at the time, but clear there has been no work or modernisation done since then. For the amount they are now charging in an area with lots of competition, it needs more, rooms really lack quality.
As above, the rooms are just really tired, and really don't match the prices charged. It's a shame as the bar and food are good.
