Swapping our hotel for this place was the best choice we made
Canceling our first hotel at the last minute for Ammoudia Maisonettes was the best thing we did. The value for money is amazing, and it gave us the quiet family holiday we really wanted.
The house is right on a quiet beach with beautiful clear water. We had our own sunbeds on uncrowded sand, looking out at the Albanian mountains. The clean, shallow water is perfectly safe for kids.
Having the beach literally in your backyard is a lifesaver. Your bed, fridge, and bathroom are just steps away. Not having to pack bags for the beach is a huge relief when you have kids.
The apartment had everything: two bedrooms with smart TVs, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. With AC, mosquito nets, and great blackout shutters, we all slept perfectly. Regular cleaning kept the place spotless.
The location is super convenient, so groceries and beachside restaurants are just a quick walk or drive away.
The owner, Mr. Armenis, really looks out for his guests. He politely chases away random people trying to use our private sunbeds, giving us privacy you just don't get at big resorts.
I usually never visit the same place twice, but we are making an exception here. My family absolutely loved it, and we were genuinely sad to leave.

Die Lage ist super: Direkt vor der Unterkunft befindet sich ein sauberer, langer Sandstrand, der sehr flach ins Meer abfällt – gerade mit Kindern ideal. In der Stadt gibt es außerdem viele Supermärkte und Restaurants. Ein Mietwagen ist aus unserer Sicht trotzdem sinnvoll, um die Umgebung flexibel erkunden zu können.
Das Check-in und Check-out waren unkompliziert und das Personal sehr nett. Die Unterkunft selbst war sauber, geräumig und bot viel Platz zum Toben und Entspannen. Die Betten waren bequem und insgesamt war alles vorhanden, was man für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders praktisch fanden wir, dass an allen Fenstern und Türen Mückengitter angebracht waren.
Die Küche war grundsätzlich gut ausgestattet. Allerdings hat am Herd nur eine der Herdplatten funktioniert und der Backofen hat relativ lange zum Aufheizen gebraucht. Das war zwar etwas unpraktisch, hat unseren Aufenthalt aber nicht wesentlich beeinträchtigt.
Etwas störend waren außerdem zahlreiche kleine Fliegen im Bad. Wir konnten leider nicht herausfinden, woher sie kamen. Hier wäre es vielleicht sinnvoll, die Ursache zu überprüfen.

דירת נופש מעולה, על החוף (ממש עליו) בסמוך לאחראבי, הדירה מרווחת ונוחה, חשבו שם על הכל כולל כל הפרטים הקטנים, מטבח מאובזר ומקלחת לכל חדר. בעל הבית יורגוס מאיר פנים וצוות ניקיון שניקה בכל יום. מתאים במיוחד למשפחות עם ילדים, בעיקר בזכות השטח הפתוח והירוק שמחוץ לדירה והחוף הצמוד. יש מיטות ושמשיות על החוף ששייכות למלון ועומדות לרשות האורחים.
