Good, but could have been a bit hotter.
Thermostat in bedroom was fixed, didn't look too impressive electronically (105).

Room space felt good with nice decor. Bed was comfy and location is beautiful
Couldn't close the bathroom window which meant people outside could look in and it was quite cold getting out the shower

It was a little warm in the upstairs rooms but not terrible as they did provide a fan.

Staff were friendly.
Very dated decor throughout. Front reception area impressive but just shows up the rest of the hotel. Once beyond the frontage the halls and corridors were very tatty, peeling wallpaper etc. The dining area was huge and unwelcoming, we chose not to eat there. The bedroom was on the small side for a twin room, the bathroom was also dated with poor quality shower and a cracked sink. The floors creaked everywhere, the argument that it is an old building doesn’t justify how bad it was.
