Perfect location. Train station is just 2 mins walk from the hotel .
Deducted some money from my account for the mini bar which I did not use. However, they refunded after giving a call to them .

Rydges front desk staff were great and I even received and upgraded room which was very kind.
All of the pillows on my bed were high lift so I felt a little too propped up. Of course, this is a personal preference and maybe most people like the fuller pillow style.

Great room with plenty of space, nice bed, clean and tidy. Very close to the Sydney Metro and also some nice dining locations.
There was no variation in pillows in the room which didn't suit my style of pillow. There also wasn't a great selection from their in-house dining area for dinner.

There were a number of things that should be working but was not - electricity outlets downstairs had no power AND no electricians to look into it. Front desk staff advising that bar is opened at 4:30pm when the advertising for happy hour says it starts at 4pm. Trying to get the same room across 3 separate bookings became a drama because the front desk staff clearly has no authority to allocate rooms beyond what the computer says. Gym was dated, small and really unappealing to use. Room cards stopped working 6 times in this period.
