Nice restaurant and friendly staff
Location is further from the airport is further than Booking.com suggests, the distance measured by Booking.com is as the crow flies and not realistic. Need your own transport. Taxi from airport was 60chf

The location at the Fischingen village was not bad. The combination of the hotel with a restaurant was OK, so, one could have a variety of meals in the evening. The restaurant inside looked OK, but, in this case, one was directed to a not so super terrace (I was not enthusiastic about that facility), but OK, that was what it was. Done.
The room wasn't too small, and there was a table with a somewhat sagging chair. The shower worked fine but lacked a soap dispenser, while the dispenser by the sink was nearly empty. The mattress was okay, but there was no nightstand to put things on, and the only way to turn on the room light was by pulling a cord. The fan provided some cooling, though opening the windows was necessary to stay cool at night—which did help a bit. It was fine for a one-off stay, but I would prefer something else. The breakfast that was served in the morning was good enough, but nothing special.
