Amazing location for the station, friendly staff, comfortable bed, quiet room.
Slightly edgy area outside, but that’s what we expected staying near the station.

The staff were very nice to us. We had booked a room for the night after we arrived, but they let us transfer the booking. Much appreciated!
It was a bit noisy at times, but that’s what you get near a main railway station.

Great staff! The staff smiled and were genuinely welcoming. Justin and Apollo made us feel at home. Any query was quickly and professionally addressed. I had some concerns about noise, but the double glazing and location of our room made a good night’s sleep a certainty, something very important to me.
The room was compact but adequate, in good repair and very clean. The bathroom had sufficient shelf space for our own items. The water in the shower was hot, and the wall mounted heater allowed us to have dry towels, something we really relish.
The breakfast included in the price was extensive. We even had the choice of a coffee machine with multiple options, or filtered coffee, which was very good.
I missed a second chair in the bedroom, so that I had to sit on the bed to read - though I did manage this quite well.

Convenient for the railway station and getting around Hamburg.
Reasonable sized bedroom.
Average breakfast.
Poorly designed shower room, nowhere to put one's own shower stuff, curtain round shower which does not fit properly.
It's OK when you get inside, but very busy outside and people sit on the entrance steps.
