The meals (breakfast and evening meal, ie half board) were very good. All of the staff are good at doing their jobs and seek to be helpful. Most of them have been doing their jobs there for more than one year. The location is ideal if you want to be near to the beach and a little away from Ca'n Picafort itself. My bedroom was clean with a desk and two high quality beds and a sliding glass door to the balcony, which provided soundproofing if required. The balcony had a clothes line and two plastic chairs and a plastic table. The fridge in the room worked well. The bathroom is one of the best that I have ever had in a hotel room with plenty of very hot running water available. The roof sunbathing area is fully equipped. The swimming pool is relatively small; but, it is quiet and seldom used by guests - plus it has a good jacuzzi whirlpool in it.
The problem was really nothing to do with the hotel itself, which is very well run. There is a bar opposite the front of the hotel and it stays open until the early hours of the morning. There were noisy Spaniards there on the Friday and Saturday nights until 4.00 am. Apparently the hotel has complained to the authorities about the noise with no success. If you want to ensure a good night's sleep I suggest that you try to be allocated a room at the back of the hotel, ie not sea facing. A female guest in the next door room smoked on her balcony quite a bit and I did not like her smoke wafting towards me.
