The rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool area always had enough places to lie down (we were there in early September). Furthermore the hotel is situated on a beautiful beach with a long seafront ideal for walks or jogging. Finally a good small supermarket and a public bus station with connections to major destinations on the island is situated at just 1-2 minutes walking distance. Overall it is a great place to relax and not have to think about anything.
The buffet food was okay for a 3-star hotel. There were always fries and meat at dinner to guarantee that everyone finds something they like. That being said don’t expect the food to be a “main attraction” at the hotel.
I missed fresh, not-overly-oily veggie options for dinner.

Food in main restarant was excellent. Had all you would expect from a 4 star. Had very good access for anyone with restricted mobility with ramps and chair lift into and put of both pools. Life guard at pools
The el la carte restarant which had same food as main restarant but more restricted and the el la carte did not have sir conditioning

Check-in chaos, unfriendly staff that outright lies to you.
Everywhere on Booking.com it says check-in is at 14.00 - I even got a response from the Hotel confirming that. Upon arrival at 14:00 the receptionist said it would be at 16.00. When I showed him the booking confirmation and website that it says 14:00, he got very unfriendly and said it would be at 16.00 and he would call me on the phone as soon as a room is available. He never called. I checked at 16:30 at the desk, he is gone, a different receptionist had to call around the cleaning ladies to find an available room. Waiting 2.5h in 30° heat after being outright lied to - of course I never come back to any lopesan group hotels.
Do not assume that you get a timely checkin.
