Loved the pool and the grounds were beautiful.

The pool bar was awful, the staff were rude, couldn't get an order correct, even when pointing to the item you wanted and language wasn't an issue. The website says there is a lifeguard on duty, but a sign on at the pool says the opposite. You are not able to use the pool or any other facilities until check in at 3pm! So be careful if you arrive early. I have never been to a hotel that didn't let you use the pool or the bar etc on the day of your arrival or for the day after checking out. It cost 110euro for a late check out of 6pm because our flight wasn't until late. We asked to speak to a manager about using the pool for a couple of hours before check in and the woman behind the desk said she was the manager, only to discover the next day when we were checking out that she wasn't actually the manager at all! The pool bar always seemed to shut early, it's meant to be open till 6pm but at 5pm I was unable to get any food for my daughter and the hotel kitchen didn't open till 7pm. AC was extremely loud if you put it below 25°c. Bring any snacks or drinks you think you might need as there isn't anything close by. There were several things that weren't able to be done that were advertised for this website. The superior rooms in the hotel have a very small outdoor space, smaller than the rooms outside the hotel and the rooms themselves weren't all that much bigger, so double think before upgrading, it was basically a sofa instead of an extended desk area. The outside restaurant area has cats/kittens wondering around, I didn't mind this, but just in case anyone isn't a fan of cats or has allergies.
