This was in a beaufiful location. Our first stop on a tour of Sri Lanka. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable with our own butler who was always readily available. A really lovely friendly man. The food was all buffet style but good quality and plenty of it. Omelettes for breakfast, I would thoroughly recommend. Lots of fruit and food to suit everyone's palette. The pool was gorgeous, especially for an early morning swim. Monkeys and so much beautiful wildlife. I loved how tranquil and quiet the location was yet in easy reach of where we needed to go each day.
There wasn't much to dislike. It was a great hotel with good facilities.

The staff were approachable and always attentive. Chefs were always around to talk to you about the food. Room was cleaned very well and manager at hand to support and look after your needs. Laundry service was amazing. They found money in pockets and returned it promptly.
Spa. This was Balinese, not Ayurvedic and Sri Lankan

The magnificent food spread was another highlight of our stay. Every dish was delicious, beautifully presented, and prepared with great care. I would like to extend my special thanks to Chef Asindu, who personally introduced us to the wonderful variety of dishes and shared insights into how they were prepared. His thoughtful gesture of serving us an ice cream platter featuring six different flavours was truly exceptional—something I had never experienced before!
The stunning views of Habarana Lake, the enchanting variety of birds, including peacocks, and the presence of other wildlife made us feel as though we had entered a magical world where nature and luxury exist in perfect harmony.
Cinnamon Lodge Habarana is more than just a hotel; it is a destination where nature, exceptional hospitality, delicious cuisine, and unforgettable memories come together.

food choices were good
The check in process took more than an hour and it was really frustrating as our group included 2 babies. The front office manager was rude.
