Beautiful hotel. Very large and easily accessible.
Was able to organise elephant safari at a price, was great!
Food, facilities and staff excellent. Room attendant Krishantha was outstanding.

The property is set on beautiful land, so many trees, a beautiful lake, wild animals and birds everywhere, its really incredible. It is close distance to all the main areas and attractions, easy to access. The rooms are big and spacious. Although a little outdated. The bathroom too, is big, but old and needs seom repairs. The swimming pool is massive and really nice, but the tiles where chipped and scratched us. The breakfast and dinner were great, so many options, we really enjoyed the food.
The buildings and facilities all needed serious maintenance, the staff (a lot of staff) were all a bit slow and unresponsive. Like when you ask for tea at breakfast, it could take a long time, if they even remembered.

The Cinnamon Lodge Habarana is the pinnacle of what a hotel can be. We appreciated in particular the friendly staff (in particular at the bar and at the organic farm and butterfly garden). This is a true treasure that we will definitely visit again. The garden and the lake are a true haven of peace and we can see that the hotel really respects the environment (for example, only glass bottles and no plastic). We hope to come back here soon!

The property is huge, lush green all around and service is great. There is a lot of space to walk around and the area near the lake is very serene.
I didn't like quite a few things -
1. Very aggressive monkeys outside our room, which made it impossible to sit or lounge outside
2. Dogs barking at night
3. Location was not great, its kindof secluded
4. Overall there is an isolated feeling because the rooms are far from each other, monkeys in the campus, people are mostly around the pool area only. Does not feel lively at all.
