The staff were amazing and the hotel manager really understood my medical issues when I was there and nothing was too much trouble. We did have an initial issue with the room we were allocated but they resolved this and went above and beyond anywhere I have ever been before. I would definitely recommend to friends and family or anyone wishing to visiting the area.
The only issue which was totally out of the hotel's control was the building work that was outside our initial room windows so I would check before you go or request a room away from it, however, I am sure this work has almost if not completely finished by now.

I loved the breakfast a lot, so much so we all looked forward to it. The cave experience was interesting although I would never do it again. The staff were very, very friendly. I loved the dogs and cats they had on premises.
The mattress was rough. For the cost of the hotel, I would expect proper bedding (thicker and proper duvet). The wifi was very slow and there is no cell service. There is no generator which was hard as my dad has a medical device for sleep apnea and the electricity went out in the middle of the night in the area. We couldn't use their phone to call them, we had no cell service or wifi and there was a very loud constant beeping noise the first night. We were too scared to walk through the many cave hallways in pitch black to the outside through the ice and cold to try to find someone. One of the night managers when we asked if we could do a later check out at 2pm said no we couldn't and we had to clear the room by 11am. The next morning the day manager said we could stay passed 11am when we had rushed to pack and get out of the room.
