Everything was exceptional: the staff, the location, the hotel, and especially the Prestige Suite , absolutely stunning. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding, and the fact that the hotel is genuinely pet‑friendly made the entire experience flawless

We stayed here during our honeymoon and chose to extend an extra night because we loved it so much!Stunning historical property, thoughtfully appointed with modern comforts.
The room has everything you could need, including a private sauna.
The breakfast and dinner was great every time. Service was always 10/10.

The room itself was beautiful — spacious, comfortable, and well-designed. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the staff working in the restaurant were attentive and professional. The food quality matched what you’d expect from a five-star hotel, and those moments were truly enjoyable.
Unfortunately, the rest of the stay fell far short of expectations. We arrived excited, expecting a special experience for our honeymoon, but the reception was closed and we were left waiting around 20 minutes before anyone helped us — and even then, the person who eventually assisted us seemed unwilling and unwelcoming. The next day, the same lack of care continued, with repeated phone calls to our room well before check-out time, making us feel rushed to leave.
There’s also no spa or pool area, which would normally be expected in a hotel of this level. Overall, even though the property itself is nice, the staff experience makes all the difference — and in this case, it simply didn’t live up to the premium price or to what the hotel advertises. If you’re looking for a truly five-star experience, it’s better to stay somewhere else.
