Hotel Knaus is een kleinschalig hotel dat eerst wat ouderwets aan doet, maar gewoon een prima hotel is met super vriendelijk personeel. Onze kamer was niet groot, maar het balkon maakte alles goed. Verder gewoon keurig, netjes, schoon. Ideaal voor een paar dagen in dit kleine maar gezellig badplaatsje aan de Bodensee. Ook het ontbijt was uitstekend. Er zijn in de buurt paar restaurantjes (waaronder in een oud stationsgebouw waar we een keer geluncht en een keer 'gedineerd' hebben, en een soort strandpaviljoen/Imbiss: gezellig Duits). Locatie was dus top. De goedlachse eigenaar gaat in oktober met pensioen: ik wens hem het beste! En hopelijk krijgt hij een goede opvolger
De ventilator was onhandig en maakte te veel geluid.
