No breakfast which was disappointing but Helmsley is a lovely Market Town.
Noise level in your room Friday Saturday night

Location was great, rooms clean & tidy
They are not doing breakfast anymore and we were told as they are about 10 cafes nearby that they didn't need to and we could use them. Only problem is that none are open till 9:00am, and we needed to one at 8am. Only 1 bakery was open which did take away drinks and rolls! Not great.
We were also not told that there was a farmers market the next morning on the car park in the square, so where we parked was in the middle of them setting it up.

Clean and welcoming , all facilities that you could need towels, iron etc and tea and coffee supplies were excellent
With it being above a lively pub the music was very loud in our room but it was also their Halloween party so understandable

The location was perfect, right in the centre of Helmsley
Lack of communication - was there breakfast available, where to drop the keys if we left early? There was very loud, live music that night, but they didn’t tell us. It felt a bit like Faulty Towers!
