Handy for a one night stay in York at a good price
Only one chair in the room and no breakfast option but there was a Greggs en route to York

The staff couldn't have been nicer. Great location and free parking was a bonus.
The room could have been vacuumed, one of the plug sockets needed to be replaced. But that was it, nice room.

Its all on one level in a very quiet area (minus the busy road behind but this didn’t bother us). Car park is quite big. Room was spacious and very clean.
Can’t think of anything bad about the property. It’s just a shame the pub bit was closed as we’d have loved to try the food etc but we understand there was a reason for this.

Ideal location for our needs- the York marathon.
Unfortunately the room heating did not work and it was cold. No management available and a young employee brought us an oil heater that wouldn’t plug in. Two smaller heaters were brought that only took edge off the chill of the room. No management in the place at all ( closed pub) The room would have been ideal with heat despite some obvious cobwebs and drink spilt up bathroom door on inside. It was room no 13!!
