Very much what you see is what you get. It’s very simple and basic but that’s obvious in the price. A bet in a warm, clean and dry room at a great price. Spitting distance of York parkrun!
It was noisier than I’d like, but again you are getting what you pay for.

If you’re anywhere near 6 ft or more, you’re not going to fit in the bed. Paper thin walls. If you get a loud neighbour, then it’s a bit of a pain. We had some Pratt watching stand up and laughing like a nutter until 4am who kept everyone awake.

I had a pleasant stay at Stableside Hostel in York. I really appreciated that there was free parking available on site; it made everything so much easier. The room also had some nice facilities including a sink and a kettle with tea and coffee, which was a thoughtful touch. Bathroom was always very clean.
The WiFi signal in my room was quite weak, which made it difficult to stay connected. The room also felt a bit cold at times, especially at night. Additionally, the guests in the neighbouring room (Room 11) were very loud late at night, which affected my sleep.
