The Black Horse Inn ist ein Pub gerade ausserhalb der Stadtmauer mit wenigen Zimmern. Die Zimmer sind überraschend gross und gut eingerichtet. Das Badezimmer ist sehr gross und mit tollen Kacheln geschmückt. Das check-in war sehr einfach, ein Parkplatz wurde für uns reserviert. Das Black Horse ist hundefreundlich, auch der Pub. Es finden jeden Abend Veranstaltungen im Pub statt, was man 1:1 im Zimmer hört; aber das wird transparent kommuniziert und sie enden auch auf die Minute wie angekündigt. Wir haben am Pub Quiz Abend teilgenommen und es war einer der Höhepunkte unserer Reise. Die Lage ist prima, man ist rasch bei allen Sehenswürdigkeiten Yorks.

Supernette Menschen und eine sehr sehr schöne Atmosphäre mit Pub und Biergarten! Und die Lage direkt neben der Stadtmauer ist absolut mega!

Great location. Parking is free if you are staying. Within walking distance of about 2 mins to restaurants and bars. The lady who booked me in was helpful and explained everything. Perfect location. The bar looked great, and if I was there longer, I would have had a drink. Well priced, and it is an excellent location Hopefully, next time. Oh, and the bathroom was huge.
Just the mattress, it was not overly comfortable.
