Well appointed, great location and very helpful host

Isabel the host was helpful and gave excellent instructions to find. Room was spotless, well located and good finishes. I left my makeup kit behind and as I rushed back form train to get it, they were already trying to alert me. Excellent customer service

It was advertised on booking.com as only adults and to be quiet between 10PM and 8AM...and was blissfully quiet the first two nights as the restaurant below was closed. But the third night was very noisy until after midnight.

Muy buena estancia

La ubicación excelente, en pleno casco histórico. Aunque estaban cambiando de empresa justo cuando fuimos, fueron muy atentos y nos dejaron muchas indicaciones para visitar o pasear. Nos mandó una lista de restaurantes y de playas que siempre es de agradecer.

A peaceful stay in a perfect location

The location was quiet and very close to the beach. The room was regularly cleaned. The staff were very helpful.

A cosy place with excellent service!

The service at the hotel was excellent! The room was Nice and clean. It is situated in the cosy old town, near the ocean. We recomand a stay here!

The hotel didnt had breakfast as we thougt, but no problem, the place Valeria is near by.

Lovely location, beautiful weather and a fabulous beach just round the corner.

We’ve been lots of times before and it is very well located, very modern, and usually very clean.

The room was slightly tired and not as clean as previously. Property has passed in two different hands and it’s really just an online booking system rather than a friendly local service. There is also no breakfast.

Relaxing stay in a beautiful hotel!

What a fantastic hotel! Fantastic location in the Old Town, in a little placa with restaurants and the church! 2 minute walk from the beach. We arrived via tram from Alicante and it was only 5 min walk from the tram stop at La Vila Joiosa! Air conditioning was very effective and quiet, and so appreciated in the heat of summer! Large room and bathroom. Comfy beds and pillows and extra duvets. Fridge and safe in room. Isabel is the most amazing host - fantastic comms from booking to checkin and out! Anything you need she can organise - any time!! We would not hesitate to return!

Great hotel, with a very kind hostess!

Firstly, the hostess was super kind, she's a lovely lady, who helped us with everything we needed. She has also a very good eye for detail! And speaks English very well. Also the lady who cleaned the room and made the breakfast for us was very nice. The breakfast was great, it looked like some kind of high tea every morning. We really had a great time and I would recommend this hotel to everyone! The location is also great, right between the streets with colorful houses. Just make sure when you stay in Villajoyosa, you also check out other places. So you can see more of the region.

I don't have anything bad to say about the accommodation.

Like a dream

Beautiful rooms and a very nice staff. The breakfast was very tasteful, inside or outside with a view over the rooftop to the ocean. And with the most beautiful place in the old town we were really happy to have our stay there.

Restful, friendly, safe, comfortable establishment.

Breakfast was lovely, in a lovely setting a short walk across a sunny courtyard.

Less noise from the street side but loved Villajoyosa. Totally realise this is not in any way anything the host can control. There was nothing to fault. So helpful with every need.

Fantastic stay.

This is a beautiful little hotel in a wonderful Spanish setting , the rooms are beautifully designed as is the reception. The staff very helpful . This was our first time in villajoyosa , but it most certainly will not be our last . We would love to stay at the Rosal again.

Comfortable bed, cool room in heat of day with balcony. Friendly staff, helpful when you need them but not overbearing. Situation perfect, breakfast very nice and in a lovely setting.

A little noisy from busy street below but it was the weekend, maybe courtyard side would be more peaceful. No dislikes.

Really first class accommodation in a lovely ‘un-Benidorm’seaside town in Spain (difficult to find) short walk down hill to the beach (uphill coming back) ! Villajoyosa is a lovely place ,hope I can go back for longer one day

Nicely located place in the cozy old square. Staff is very helpful and room is clean. There are couple of nice places to eat next to the hotel and sea is in the walking distance.

Parking can be tricky if you come with the car. There is one street nearby with the parking spots, but they are normally full.

A boutique hotel situated in the old town. 5 min. walk from Vila-Joiosa train stop, right next to the main road crossing town. 3-4 min. walk to Playa Central. Bars, shops, restaurants right next door. Spacious room for 2. Nice, modern design. Soundproofing is above average in Spain (you can barely hear anything from outside, despite the windows looking to a busy square). Very kind and helpful staff. Good handling of COVID19 rules. Both the room and the public spaces are clean and well maintained. High quality and good value for money. Strongly recommended.

No problem for us, but there are some minor issues to know before booking: the elevator is only from the 1st floor (3 floors in total), there is very little privacy in the 'bathroom' (actually it is not separated at all and both the toilet and shower are behind glass windows), mountain/city view is towards a busy square with one of the main roads of Villajoyosa.
