Lovely open air environment. Rooms were spacious enough & comfortable. Ocean frontage & a 10 min walk into town or a 5 min walk along the rocks out front. Staff friendly. Edwin on front desk, was especially helpful, always trying his best to assist us & always with a smile on his face.
Breakfast was sufficient. The restaurant meals were very good.
It’s a shame the beach has eroded away but thats no fault of the hotel. It was still a lovely location to feel the sea breeze, watch the waves & surfers & enjoy a sunset drink or meal.
The pool could do with a safety rail to get in & out, or something on the tiles, as they were quite slippery.

I stayed at Casa Coraje with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday, and overall we had a wonderful experience. The hotel is beautiful, with thoughtfully designed facilities and a relaxed atmosphere. The staff was exceptionally kind, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. They also assisted us with booking excursions and arranging transportation, which made everything very easy.
One thing that really stood out was how they handled an issue with one of our rooms. The air conditioning wasn’t working, so they offered us an upgrade for a very small additional charge to a private bungalow right in front of the ocean. It was absolutely spectacular and made my birthday stay even more special.
There are, however, a couple of things worth mentioning. There is currently no beach directly in front of the hotel. This is obviously not the hotel’s fault, as the sea has eroded the beach that used to be there, but it is something guests should be aware of if having direct beach access is important to them.
The other downside was breakfast. The included options are quite limited, and almost any change, substitution, or addition comes with an extra charge. Considering the price per night, this was a little surprising and is definitely an area where the experience could be improved.
Despite these points, we had a fantastic stay. The beautiful setting, lovely facilities, and especially the incredibly friendly staff made Casa Coraje a memorable place to celebrate my birthday.
