My wife and I stayed at Punta Est for our honeymoon and they made our entire trip absolutely amazing. From the staff's exceptional service (especially the team at the reception, shout out to them for caring so much about their guests) to the hotel's cleanliness, vicinity to nearby attractions and food, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay during our time.
It's hard to say because I genuinely can't think of any poor experience I had, but if I had to pick anything in particular it would be the parking. They have a free parking lot, but it's a bit small so we often found ourselves spending a bit too much time looking for somewhere to park, but this isn't an issue with the hotel per se. There's paid parking all around so it never ended up being a big issue anyways.

The location is great if your staying in the Baja area
Firstly.... This is a 3 star standard hotel at best. If you're used to staying in 4 star hotels, You are in for a shock.
The staff were not the worst but just not very helpful or forthcoming at all. I had a few enquiries about car rentals, taxi's etc. and the standard response was just "We will whatsapp you" which they never did. It's like they hated dealing with guests in general and try to just send you away.
The food was so so so basic. The breakfast especially was pretty poor for a 4 star hotel with very limited options. The food in the restaurant was also quite bland. Food portions were also VERY small and very expensive for what you actually get.
Lastly the room again was quite basic and 3 star quality at best. You get a bed sheet to cover yourself which was poor and the towels were very rough. The rooms look quite dated.
There are probably nicer hotels to consider in the area for the same price. (I paid £325+ per night for a sea view room where the sea is barely visible)
