Das Frühstücksbuffet war wirklich sehr gut. Es gab eine große Auswahl und besonders die Waffelstation hat uns gefallen. Auch das Personal beim Frühstück war ausgesprochen freundlich und aufmerksam.
Normalerweise schreibe ich keine schlechten Rezensionen, aber nach unserem sechstägigen Aufenthalt war ich leider ziemlich enttäuscht. Von einem 4-Sterne-Hotel hätte ich deutlich mehr erwartet.
Die Zimmer sind schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. In den Fugen im Badezimmer befand sich Schimmel und an verschiedenen Stellen war eine deutliche Verkalkung zu sehen. Zudem hatten wir bereits am zweiten Tag ein Problem mit dem Strom. Wir haben dies gemeldet und uns wurde gesagt, dass man sich darum kümmern werde.
Zwei Tage später fiel in der Nacht auch noch die Klimaanlage aus. Bei einer Außentemperatur von 33 Grad stieg die Temperatur in unserem Zimmer auf 26,7 Grad. Wir mussten unter diesen Bedingungen schlafen. Leider wurde uns weder ein Ventilator noch eine andere Alternative angeboten. Gerade in einem 4-Sterne-Hotel hätte ich hier deutlich mehr Service und Entgegenkommen erwartet.
Auch die Zimmerreinigung war leider nicht zufriedenstellend. Es wurde hauptsächlich dort gereinigt, wo man unmittelbar durchläuft. An den Seiten und in den Ecken lag weiterhin Sand. Shampoo und Conditioner wurden während unseres Aufenthalts zudem nicht aufgefüllt. Im Badezimmer kam außerdem ein unangenehmer Kanalisationsgeruch aus der Dusche.
Beim Auschecken kam dann leider noch eine weitere Enttäuschung hinzu: Für unseren Hund wurden uns 20 Euro pro Tag inklusive Taxen berechnet. Angesichts der verschiedenen Probleme während unseres Aufenthalts wurde leider keinerlei Kulanz oder Entgegenkommen angeboten. Das empfand ich persönlich als wenig kundenfreundlich.

The beach is excellent, with very clear and beautiful water. We also really enjoyed the restaurants and the food, especially dinner. The rooms themselves are comfortable and nicely designed.
Unfortunately, our arrival experience was quite stressful.
When we arrived at the hotel, none of the three nearby restaurants were serving food. Breakfast service had already finished, and the next meal service was only at lunchtime. We understand that this is quite common in Europe, but after travelling with a child, it was still
inconvenient not to have any food option available.
The bigger issue was our room. The air conditioning was not working, and the hotel was unable to repair it. At first, we were told that another room could only be provided the following day. Since we were travelling with a child and the windows had no mosquito screens, sleeping with the windows open was not really an option.
We eventually had to contact Booking.com Support to help resolve the situation. Surprisingly, shortly afterwards, another room became available for us to spend the night in.
The next day, as the A/C problem still had not been fixed, we were moved to a completely different room. As a result, during a four-day stay, we ended up staying in three different rooms, which was obviously inconvenient.
Another detail that was not clear to us before arrival is that the hotel beach is divided into different categories. The beach closest to the hotel is the “Superior” area and is only available to guests staying in Superior-category rooms. Other guests have to use another hotel beach located further away, past another beach. We simply were not aware of this arrangement when booking.
Finally, if you do not have your own car, getting from this area to nearby towns can be quite difficult. Taxis often need to be booked about a day in advance. Uber is available, but there is no guarantee that a driver will be nearby when you need one.
