Excellent beach, breakfast excellent, beach facilities excellent

The whole experience was wonderful. The staff where amazing especially Emmanele who was in charge at breakfast and at dinner in the Mediterranean restaurant. He always went above and beyond, and the staff couldn't have been better. Andrea at the beach restaurant was also very good, and the reception staff from the moment we walked were amazing especially Baha who took us to our room and gave us a tour. The facilities were spectacular and I saw staff cleaning things that were already spotless, so much was their attention to detail. Housekeeping was invisible and perfect. The resort was not new by any means, but did not feel at all dated and it was nice that is was not all glossy and 5 star shiny with no atmosphere. It was understated elegance and perfect for the environment. Everything was clean and fresh and lovely and staff attentive, but without feeling you were being over serviced. Even the beach staff were lovely and very accommodating so just wonderful all round really. The beach and water were just right - never cold and having allocated sun lounges was so nice not to have those people who run out early in the morning to reverse things! Nice to be able to wander down whatever time of the day and get a lounge. We didnt venture to the pool at all, no need the beach was perfect. Food wise - nice to get some nibbles with your drinks and a nice selection. The wines we had, many from Sardinia were lovely and of good standard as you would expect and prices you would expect - nothing was cheap here but you dont book a place like this expecting to get a bargain right! We come from Australia with our own gorgeous beaches but this is a different experience and we will come again - such a beautiful part of the world and different to home. No rips and no sharks - has to be a good thing and the food just perfect !!

While I do expect to pay a good price for anything at a place like this, I do think that lying at a beach or in the sun, water should not be charged for. Charge for juices, cocktails, chips, foods etc but to charge for water I feel to be bit much - Im sure that can be absorbed in the room costs.

Our room was lovely - all of the staff at the hotel were really helpful - the beach was also perfect. We visited all of the restaurants at the hotel and all of them were really good. Would highly recommend

The location is really beautiful.

The property need renovations. It does not live up to a 5 star hotel. The food and drinks are overpriced for the moderate quality they offer.
