You really can't fault this hotel - everything is of high quality and impeccable service. The staff were excellent and made you feel special. There is a free tour of the gardens to start the day. We didn't make use of most of the hotel facilities (golf, spa etc) as we went sightseeing, but it all looked great. We did however try the tasting menu for dinner - which was fantastic. We would have loved to stay longer and just make use of everything the hotel had to offer.
I had a broken fried egg given to me at breakfast 🤒 - just shows how I am struggling to find anything less than perfect service in this hotel.

The property was very beautiful and the staff were all very accommodating and went out of their way to make us comfortable.

Very helpful and friendly staff. The room was spacious and the facilities comfortable.
The rooms were quite tired, with chipped furniture and old carpets and fittings. Although there are some beautiful common areas they are not used for the hotel restaurant and bar which are in quite tired, corporate looking rooms. The restaurant has a nice area with views to the garden but it only fitted tables of 2. The location was also a little inconvenient, being a 15 minute walk along busy roads, from the city centre.
