The building was historic. However it did not live up to the pictures depicted on booking.com...The staff was polite and very helpful. They did address our every need. The views and breeze from the top floor were amazing.
Historic buildings bring challenges. The steep stairs were a challenge. Our room was open concept and had the bathroom facilities in the same room. Shower was slanted and toilet area very small. This hotel is actually several apartments on both sides of the street with no grand entry area as appeared in the pictures.

We loved the spa bath tub! Great shower and comfortable bed. The staff were also helpful and we enjoyed the personalised breakfast service to our room.
There was no space or shelving in the bathroom to place any toiletries.

Very “local feel” to the location and property.
No elevator. Advertised as a 4 star. Nice, but not a 4 star hotel. Met the standards for a three star. Four star rating was very misleading for the accommodations space and service level.
