Everything! Great location & wonderful breakfast. The hosts, Graca & Joia were delightful & went out of their way to accommodate me. Lovely, clean property & very comfortable room.

When you approach the property you might think it is nothing special. Then when Graca opens the door, you enter a beautiful guest house decorated in a beautiful style and the warmest welcome I have ever received! Graca and Joao truly make you a part of the Republica Guest House family. They introduce every guest by name. They offer drinks to enjoy on the lovely patio or sitting room.
The air conditioning worked perfectly and the room was quiet and comfortable with the doors shut. But by far, what made the experience were the amazing hosts!

Beautiful old property. Our room had everything we needed including a very comfortable bed. We were made to feel very welcome and shown around the property. The kitchen had a coffee machine, fridge etc available for guests. Graca was a wonderful host! She recommended places to visit as well as dinner suggestions. We were able to park on the street nearby.
