The apartment was in a fantastic location only steps away from the shops and restaurants but nice and quiet with beautiful views over the water. Pool was appreciated to cool off. Very clean. Loved the donkeys passing by to and from their days work.

Excellent Location for those wishing to get the true flavour of the town, while not feeling claustrophobic. Excellent views overlooking the old port and the volcano mountain and for that sunset glimpse.
Special mention of Bora who was most helpful and went out of her way to resolve our problem. And Marios who is an excellent human being and a true inspiration of work ethics.
Bathroom facilities could've been better. The slight regimentation in breakfast requirements could be done without. But I guess it is only natural when limited staff has to take care of all aspects.

Is a very nice hotel with best Sunset view. Location is good, centre of Fira.
Staff there is friendly, Bora n Mario are great and always helpful. They gave us a lot of good info for us to plan our itinerary there. Really enjoy.
Nothing much but only blanket is not easy to tug out from sofa bed. Also, it would be good to improve the curtain at bath tub, it is rather small. Water may spill out sometimes.

Mattress was too hard, however the hosts swapped it over right away for a better one, great service!

Kastro Suites was beautiful, location is perfect, and the staff, Despina and Marios (I think, apologies if I got his name wrong), were so nice, helpful, and accommodating. Kastro Suites is the best place to stay on Santorini!

Our 3 night stay at Kastro Suites was amazing! The location is perfect, the view is out of this world, and our suite was so more than we expected. Breakfast was served to us on our private balcony each morning, which was beautiful. So much to choose from, tasty and fresh. Despina and her staff went above and beyond to make our stay so memorable. Oh, and the pool was sensational…with views across the cliff side and over the sea. 10/10 all round.

This property was centrally located, very clean and had incredible views with a delicious breakfast. The rooms were large and the property was beautiful. The manager Despina was very knowledgeable and very helpful in booking excursions, transfers and providing us with recommendations. Kid friendly too! Looking forward to visiting again.

This property is the perfect place to stay in Santorini. the cliff side views are unbelievable, and rooms and staff were incredible. Despina at the front desk helped us with every detail of the trip, and all of her recommendations were perfect.

Loved staying at Kastro Suites! The staff is so helpful and friendly. Despina was always available and gave us so much good advice while we were there. The location could not have been better and such beautiful views from the hotel. Everything was so convenient. Eating breakfast on the terrace with such stunning views was wonderful. It was also a great breakfast-from the sweet cake from the local bakery, fresh fruit and more. Marios was such an attentive server. The beds are comfortable too. Whenever we go to Santorini, we will definitely stay here!

We absolutely loved our 4 nights at Kastro Suites. It was a truly beautiful place to stay, in an excellent location, price factor, ocean view and the outstanding service this hotel provides. Location is
prime and we were in walking distance to several restaurants and shops.
Stayed in a Junior Suite 101 with Caldera View. The outdoor Jacuzzi was right in front of us thus it added to the mesmerising view of the Caldera and the Sea.
Despina the property owner was very hospitable by explaining the different highlights of Santorini, transport, food and amenities around the hotel. Marius the staff was very diligent and friendly. He met us at the main road to help us with our luggages to the hotel. The cable car it’s just outside Kastro suites entrance.
I highly recommend Kastro Suites.

lovely clean, spacious rooms. ( cleaned every day with towels changed) fantastic breakfast taken on the terrace area overlooking the caldera. Couldn’t have wished for a better location towards the top end of fira near the cable car. ( in our opinion one of the best locations as the sun was on the breakfast terrace from early morning .)fantastic host Despina nothing too much trouble she gave us loads of info about santorini. organised airport transfers for us. ( thank you Marius for carrying out case to the taxi) Definately recommend Kastro Suites

Everything was perfect. My favourite place to stay in Santorini. Personal is amazing, helpful and kind. This place impressed me for sure! I could not wish more. Breakfast was perfect, rooms were perfect, a view and a swimming pool is great. From Kastro Suites everything is close and easy to access. You just take a boat or a bus to any directions you wish. I enjoyed Thira more than Oia

From time of arrival to departure our stay was pleasant ,with very attentive , hardworking staff. Before we arrived I had made contact by e mail to Despina who was very pleasant, and tried to make our stay comfortable and tried to meet all our needs. On arrival in taxi organized through Despina , Marius was waiting to carry our luggage to the Kastro suites. Despina and Marius were always very pleasant and professional as were the rest of the staff. We arrived very early to the suites at 7 am from Athens but Despina allowed us check in immediately . Our room was amazing , with a sitting area in front of our bedroom.We had 2 fabulous views from the sitting room area overlooking the Caldera. Breakfast was served on a large shared communal area with fabulous views of the Caldera. Information was given on tours by Despina of which we booked through her and enjoyed immensily. All covid restrictions strictly adhered to . Location is prime and we were in walking distance to several restaurants and shops. The cable car was just outside the Kastro Suites entrance. We highly recommend Kastro Suites.

The receptionist was awesome, Very informative and accommodating. The location was great. The view was spectacular! The breakfast was good. The place was quite big.
One of the beds was really squeaky every time you move on it. The pool seemed more like a hot tub than a pool but got the job done.

Bedroom did not have air conditioner! Santorini is usually breezy and cooler in evenings but during heatwave an issue! Bathroom is also dated.

This hotel staff was unbelievable! So kind, so helpful, so considerate! He even carried my suitcase down the hill to meet the taxi, which my blistered feet were thankful for! Breakfast was to die for!!!! Quantity and quality! The view includes the curve of Fira, old port below and the entire caldera. Best view in Santorini! Our patio was so enjoyed. We got in the pool multiple times - it has the same beautiful view!!!! Loved hearing the bells on the mules. The stairs are right below the hotel. There is a fun bar, the Boozery, at the top of the hotel stairs (3 flights!) that we loved at night. We met several other families and couples at the hotel who were very nice! Our room was incredible. The hotel has high ceilings, a large bathroom, great tub, fridge and dishes, a nice place to put a suitcase, a very spacious living area even with 2 beds for our kids. The furnishings were great! Loved the ambiance!
The hotel was absolutely perfect and couldn't have been more so!!!!!
What we didn't enjoy, though: all the damn stairs and hills in Santorini! Lordy! Sore knees and many blisters! Parking was FAR from anything and unorganized. Driving was difficult and a little scary. Dead ends, crazy motorcyclists, narrow roads, one- way streets. There is no way to get to the hotel or anywhere in Santorini except on foot. Pack accordingly. You'll be hauling suitcases!

Excellent place. We got room by pool and it was the best. View over capital of Santorini was amazing. Just more than you can see in pic. Definitely recommend and we will come back to this hotel for next time.
Bed as a bit hard, but that is very little thing.
