Beautifully decorated room. Good size. Comfortable bed. No noise. Nice staff. Check-in open until 11pm (smaller places sometimes close check-in earlier).
The TV wouldn’t turn on or off with remote control; had to get out of bed at night to turn it off, which is a pain.
Bacon at breakfast was cooked but pink and floppy (fat still white). My preference is for it to be a bit crispier so I asked it to be done a little more; it came back the same. I didn’t have the sausages but they were also very pale.
Shower door needed a better clean at the bottom.

Room nice and quiet, lovely and warm, felt safe
Bed really comfortable and clean
Room only set up for one person but quickly rectified when requested.
Cobwebs on ceiling, one fell on me in the night! Bit disturbing.
Plug does not fit in the bath so could not use it
TV was unplugged and ariel out, had to pull it forward and plug in, needs a dust behind it, but nice tv once working, good size and picture.

Easy place to find and very accessible.
Comfy and clean accommodation - and a delightful 'nostalgic feel' to the rooms & corridors.
Quick and easy check-in.
Tasty biscuits and generous selection of tea & coffee with fresh milk provided on application..
A small irritation (not really important); the toilet continuously ran after flushing. I reported this so this will be fixed,

Location
There was a huge spider on my pillow . On the first night . Despite leaving a clean my room . It was not cleaned . Nor was the tea and milk sachets replenished .
