The whole experience from start to finish was a absolute awesome experience. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Even remembered my breakfast order every day 😋 Perfect 😍 the 2 pools were well maintained clean and tidy.

The set up is nice, location beautiful, best location of the island. Great beach and stunning view. 5 min walk to the mini market.
If you travel in low season you know you can run into maintenance but paying full price for a beachfront bungalow and having 20 man working before you door each day is not ok. Same at the restaurant. It was a building pit. At least the resort could inform us they were planning construction so we had a chance to choose otherwise. Restaurant is adequate although quality altered by the day. Breakfast poor. Location and staff made up for the discomfort but felt we over paid with what we got.

⭐ Your Review for Koh Mook Sivalai Beach Resort
We stayed at what is known as the most “luxury” hotel on Koh Mook, and while the room itself was new, spacious, and very comfortable, the rest of the experience was unfortunately disappointing — especially for the premium price (around 400 CHF per night).
The location is excellent, and the sandbar beach in front of the resort is beautiful, but the property does not match the standard it claims to offer. The gardens and landscaping are poorly maintained, and areas around the resort — especially the path leading to the village — feel neglected and uncared for.
The breakfast setting is lovely, but the food quality was weak, both at breakfast and in the restaurant. For a hotel marketed as the best on the island, the dining experience was far below expectations.
The most disappointing moment was when we needed a late checkout. On the day we were leaving, the weather was extremely bad. We have two small children, and our boat was scheduled for 2pm. We requested to stay until then (just two extra hours), but the hotel insisted on charging 500 THB per hour. What felt especially unreasonable was that housekeeping only began cleaning the rooms at 2pm anyway. There was no effort to show care or empathy — just a strict money-first approach.
In contrast, our hotels on other islands (Koh Kradan and Koh Ngai) allowed us to cancel at no cost due to the severe weather. They understood our situation and were supportive. Koh Mook Sivalai did not show the same hospitality.
Koh Mook is a stunning island, and we truly enjoyed its natural beauty, but sadly this resort left a negative impression.
