Location and the view are exceptional. People in the staff are great. Breakfast is extremely delicious. The parking is never full, restaurants are with great view and tasty food.
Well, actually in any other case I would be complaining a lot, but because of all of the pluses it was all manageable. But in our room we had a very creaking bed, not working coffee machine and smelly pillows. Everything was fixed expect if the bed, but they made it less noisy so we could sleep. But again - the hotel is just great. If we ever come back to the island we would definitely be back to the hotel.

Our stay at Quinta Do Furao was magical. We were obsessed with our balcony's view (we stayed in a Junior Suite room on the top floor). The breakfast was fabulous and had great menu options to complement what they had out for buffet. The coffee was fantastic. We did meals at both restaurants and loved them. I loved the location in Santana, and felt like it was a great place to explore the north side of the island from. Our room was spacious. They even had a place for us to plug in our hybrid rental car!
I can't think of anything. I want to go back!

We had a wonderful check-in experience and felt welcomed right from the start. The outdoor pool was absolutely beautiful, offering breathtaking views. We also dined at the restaurant, which had a lovely atmosphere and served outstanding food as well as the breakfast had an amazing offer.
I had read some other reviews mentioning outdated furniture, but I felt the pictures online show exactly what to expect. In fact, the rustic, old-school style gives the hotel a very special and authentic charm!
A poncha costs €7 at the hotel bar, which feels a bit out of balance considering the average price on the island is around €3.50. Despite that, it was a fantastic experience overall

The view of the mountains, wine vineyard and the staff!!
Not having A/C sucked. Only one iron for the whole hotel is strange. This location is known for weddings, not having a steaming service for the wedding party also sucked. Gym is very outdated, does not look like the pictures. Hot tub is not hot.
