Lovely stay with private access to the beach and great food

Amazing location, perfect spot for sunset and good for snorkelling too. We really enjoyed the food and happy hours and the live music on Friday was just lovely. The staff is really friendly and kind as well, we enjoyed very much our stay and we wish to have booked for more days, we strongly recommend it!

Something that we knew from previous reviews it is that the bathroom has a bad smell and would need some renovation work but didn’t ruin our experience

Great pool Good location, pretty close to great restaurants. near the sea (srithanu&zen beach) The courtyard of the room is nice with a nice hammock.

No hot water in the shower The room is very old and not well maintained. The bed isn't comfortable. The room is not sealed enough, which creates the entry of many insects. bad value for money!!

Excellent resort with relaxing vibe, super clean and spacious rooms

Mattress was too hard, like sleeping on the floor but when I told the receptionist that he immediately took care of it and added a nice comfy topper on the mattress

The staff is absolutely amazing!!! Took care of everything I needed in such a lovely manner! The room was super clean and comfortable, best place to stay in Ko Pha-ngan!!

Peaceful oasis on a beautiful beach

Loved the privacy of the bungalow. Cleaning is every other day. Staff was great, especially Patch at reception. Enjoyed the bbq and live music which happens Mon & Fri.

Wifi did not reach our bungalow, a small price to pay for being so close to the beach.

Relaxing place with access to the beach. Beautiful location.

It was an amazing hotel and I loved the whole environment, placed within the palm trees and other beautiful nature. I even saw a tiny snake and some squirrels! My bungalow was amazing, it was clean, looked renovated and had a functioning AC. I also really liked my hammock outside where I laid when it rained for a bit. I loved that the beach was close by and you could reach boutiques, 7 eleven etc just outside the hotel. Can only recommend this place and will def come back here when I’m back on the island.

Pure relax on a calm and beautiful beach

The bungalow is clean and tidy. We have had Thai bungalow #3, located just a few steps away from the beach. You can see the beach and the sea from spacious patio where it's really nice to chill out – sitting in comfortable armchairs or relaxing in hammok. The hotel is located in beautiful garden, right in the middle of Haad Chao Phao. In April the tide is low, so there's no possibility neither to swim nor to snorkel, but the beach is very beautiful and relaxing anyway. Also thanks to low tide you can go by foot to the next Zen beach and Sritanu beach (around 15-20 minutes). Comfortable sunbeds are always available (for hotel guests only). Perfect sunset view from Heaven bar (located next to hotel's sunbeds).

Restaurant was a disappointment. Twice we came for breakfast – both times the food was not tasty and the waiter was unfriendly. Anyway there are a lot of options to have really tasty meal just around the corner!

Superb

The first days I've been staying in one of the older bungalows which was OK, but I really really loved the Thai Villa which I was staying in after. It's simply beautiful! I looooooved that they had a vegan menu on top of the normal menu and I've tried several dishes and they were all delicious. Also loved that there are only glass bottles on the property and that there is a water refill station at the reception. Oh and the staff was incredibly nice! 🤍

The beds are quite hard. I know it's the case in most places in Asia...

beautiful place

the rooms were really nice. Comfortable bed and a spacy bathroom. My bungalow was right at the beach and very quitet. The restaurant offered a wide selection of really good food. The staff was friendly and helpful with everything. The pool was clean and offered a lot of sunbeds as well. There is access to the beach directly from the hotel property. Over all a wonderful hotel :)

we asked to move to another hut because we didn’t want to stay with alot of children around us and the staff kindly moved us as soon as possible

Great pick for making the best of a Koh Phangan stay

The resort has all that's needed for making the best of a stay in Koh Phangan: - location is ideal : midway on the west coast it's a short scooter ride (5-20 min) to most places : Thong Sala with its night market, Haad Salad beach (great for snorkeling), ChalokLum for diving, etc. It is very close to a strip full of breakfast cafes (the best is Capara), street food shacks and all kind of restaurants (incl. many vegan options). - the resort recommends a place to rent scooters. - it's on the beach and it also has a lovely restaurant that serves very interesting Thai and Asian fusion dishes (incl vegan options) - its not too big, and definitely has the Thai-Canadian touch of the family that runs it. - the swimming pool is large enough for swimming - the resort promotes sustainable tourism, incl. not everyday room service, water bottle refill station etc-. - wifi was ok. We would stay again.

Beds are hard (even by Thai hard-bed standards), but you can request a mattress topper at reception.

Great family resort!

We´d enjoyed our stay at Sunflower Bungalows very much. The resort is on the beach, with great Heaven bar, nice restaurant and nice pool, which was big enough for swimming and jumping into the water. Amazing staff, super nice! Beautiful sunsets just few steps from our Deluxe cottage right on the beach. Great barbecue and live music every monday and friday. Shop 7/11 is very close, also massages, rental of motorbike, everything just few steps from resort. We would love to come back again. Hopefully soon!

Very good

The place is right on the beach with a great vibe. The bungalows offer a view and access to the beach. All your basic amenities are like drinking water and periodic housekeeping is part of the tariff, which is great. It's 10 steps away from 7Eleven and very close to all the best restaurants on the island.

There could've been a pick up or drop service for the price. Bathroom fittings are really old. There was low water pressure and not a lot of hot water in the shower. The room lighting is unusually dull and dingy. It's a matter of luck if your room's sliding doors lock!

A piece of affordable tropical paradise

Beautiful, comfy thai type villa, right on a very pretty beach, with the most awesome sunsets and wonderful views to the Ang Thong Marine Park ! The Heaven bar is a local institution, wonderful to have a nice meal and chill out at, the staff is super friendly and the general vibe is so good hearted and relaxed. Oh and there is the quintessential suoer cute, cheeky thai dog in charge of the place!

The location to the street and to the beach. I took the pool view room which was large.

The reception close at 21:00 and so is the access to the main path. You have to go behind the rooms. There is no t.v. It didn't bother me, but maybe others will.

What a nice surprise to discover this property! Our intention was to be away from the property most of the time, as we wished to explore the island. But we were so often drawn into staying "home" to enjoy time at the beach, pool and beach side restaurant. Super friendly staff and an excellent location! There are a few traditional Thai massage options right across the street and some of the best restaurants and cafes on the island only minutes away by scooter or taxi truck. Large, clean rooms. We were very happy here!
