Great location, love having all the facilities in the room and it was a great layout. I was here for the GNR so was perfect (if a little pricey because of it) would stay again though!

Top floor room had a great view. Bathroom was nice and shower was good. Likes the kitchenette facility.
The bed was very uncomfortable. Mattress bowed in the middle. Very poor sleep because of that unfortunately.

The aparthotel concept is excellent, particularly when travelling with a child. Our apartment was exceptionally clean, calm and cleverly designed, with a surprisingly useful kitchenette, an excellent-sized fridge, hob, microwave and even a dishwasher. Being able to come back after a busy day and cook rather than take a tired child to another restaurant was invaluable.
The blackout curtains were genuinely excellent, temperature control/air-conditioning worked beautifully, there was also an opening window, and the bathroom was spacious and very cleverly laid out. The White Company toiletries were a lovely touch.
The communal areas downstairs are particularly well thought out: complimentary tea and coffee 24/7, Grab & Go breakfast, food and drinks to buy, and — brilliantly — a proper lounge with sofas, armchairs and a TV rather than simply a hotel waiting area. On our final day we collected our luggage and needed to reorganise our suitcase before the train; having somewhere my seven-year-old could relax while I repacked was enormously helpful.
A special thank you to the lady who checked us in and kindly allowed us into our room early. Travelling with a child, that made a real difference. I would definitely consider staying again.
The kitchenette is a fantastic idea but has some surprisingly impractical omissions once you actually try to cook.
There was no tea towel, kitchen roll or drying rack/mat, leaving nowhere sensible to dry your hands or washed dishes. We eventually had to move a white bathroom hand towel into the kitchen. There were also no proper preparation knives — only table knives and a cheese knife. Providing a hob, pots and pans but nothing with which to chop vegetables considerably limits what guests can actually cook.
There was no salt either. Reception happily provided little sachets when I asked, which made me wonder why a couple aren’t simply placed in each kitchenette. There was also only one dishwasher tablet.
These are all very small, easily fixable things, but they stood out because the rest of the apartment has clearly been designed with so much thought.
Service was efficient, although apart from the lovely lady at check-in it felt more functional/self-service than particularly warm or welcoming.

Location, layout of the room.
No parking, closest is a 5-10 walk.
Because the rooms have kitchens there was a smell of cooking, however knowing there was a kitchen you take your chance.
