We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Country Homes Ella! Shani, the lovely owner, made us feel so welcome from the very beginning and even surprised us with a room upgrade.
Our apartment had an incredible view overlooking the jungle – absolutely breathtaking! Every morning, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast delivered straight to our room. One evening, Shani even prepared a homemade traditional Sri Lankan dinner for us, which was a real highlight!
She also kindly helped us organise our onward journey. The location is great, within walking distance of Ella town and a perfect starting point for day trips.
We felt very comfortable and well looked after. Thank you, Shani, for your wonderful hospitality. We would definitely recommend Country Homes!
The only small downside is that it can be a little noisy due to the nearby road and construction works. Apart from that, everything was perfect!

Such a beautiful view, the breakfast in the room is really a nice feature. Location is also perfect - very easy to get around the main attractions nearby.
There was no actual AC apart from the ceiling fan, so it was very humid and the beds were damp, which is not a deal breaker but not very pleasant.

The standout was the view, spectacular and the location was great, 8mins walk to town center.
No aircon in our room, monkeys were a threat when taking food out on balcony. TV didn’t work.
