The hotel is HUGE! There is so much variety in food offerings. The main pool area is just lovely. Saif on reception in the aqua side was very helpful and Hlvi in guest relations went above and beyond to get us into an à la carte as we were only here for the one night. The room was very clean and the bed super comfortable, the pillows especially. Having aperol spritz on tap is such a treat especially in Egypt and all the branded alcohol is great.
When we arrived on the beach side the reception was very chaotic and we were passed on from person to person waiting for 40 minutes just to be taken to check in on the Aqua side. The Aqua side team were much more calm and collected and got us organised very efficiently.

Everything was perfect, food, drinks, facilities, activities, the staff is absolutely friendly and helpful specially Mr Kerolos he was facilitating everything to me all over the day with a very rapid response and Mr Amr at the reception who was very friendly and helpful, both of you guys are amazing thank you so much

The hotel itself is impressive. Rixos Seagate is a huge resort with excellent facilities. The aquapark was fantastic for both us and the kids, and the à la carte restaurants (which require advance booking) were a great addition. There is plenty to do, and the resort has everything you need for a family vacation.
However, the biggest issue was the staff. It honestly feels like they are understaffed and under too much pressure. Several employees told us they work from morning until evening with very little rest. As guests, you come to relax, but it’s difficult to enjoy your stay when the staff are clearly exhausted and stressed. The hotel really needs to hire more employees instead of overloading the current team.
The most disappointing part of our stay happened during check-out. We were accused of taking the children’s bathrobes. We explained that we had not taken them, but the staff immediately believed the housekeeping report rather than us. We even offered to let them search our luggage because we had nothing to hide, and they were actually prepared to check our bags in front of everyone.
That was extremely embarrassing, disrespectful, and left a very bad final impression. As a guest, you should feel trusted and appreciated, not treated like a suspect.
The resort itself deserves five stars, but because of the staffing issues and the way we were treated at check-out, I can only give it 3 out of 5 stars. I sincerely hope management addresses these problems, because the hotel has the potential to be outstanding.
