The upper level primary bedroom boasts a beautiful bed set, walk-in closet opening to the en suite bathroom, with jetted tub and separate generously sized shower. The second primary is located downstairs, along with two additional queen rooms and two social spaces. Gather around the fireplace in the family room, or cozy up on the oversize sofa and watch a movie in the bonus room. The bonus room contains a queen bed, two twin beds, and a sofa sleeper as well. Guests are advised to contact Tahoe Getaways in advance of making a reservation with questions. 5. Due to Extreme Fire Danger – The use of ANY outdoor firepit or fireplace is strictly prohibited at any of our rental properties. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we work to keep our community safe from wildfires. 6. VIDEO SURVEILLANCE: Some TAHOE GETAWAYS vacation rental properties have surveillance cameras that have been installed by the rental property owners, primarily for security/risk management purposes (these include Nest Cameras and Ring Doorbell Cams). We want to reassure our guests that surveillance is strictly prohibited in interior areas or in areas where Guests would have a reasonable expectation of privacy, such as an outdoor spa. We drove from San Francisco with 5 adults and 2 kids (age: 1/5) & arrived at the house at 7pm.
The code to check into the house wasn’t received until 10pm. A terrible situation to be in, with 2 children who just traveled all day.
Aside from that, the property was beautiful and home was enjoyable.

Nice large home in great neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and will recommend to others. I definitely think the carpets need a good cleaning. Looked very dirty. Also, the pans were horrible. The home could us some non stick pans or something to clean the pans other than a small sponge that did not work. We tried to scrub with no avail. Other than that a great home.

Perfect place for three generations to visit. Close to everything we needed and wanted to do. The house was well equipped and we enjoyed our time there.

Ideal floor plan for large group with children
Dual Master Bedrooms with en-suites we’re perfect for two couples. Those without children had the master adjacent to the living room. The couples with children had the master downstairs & other bedrooms that were adjacent to the common area & downstairs play room. Ceiling fans, interior doors that locked & a garage keypad code that worked would’ve made this property a 10. I’ll give it an 8.5.

Wonderful house and neighborhood!
We were 2 families of 4, so more than enough space for us and an awesome set-up for the kids. The photos do not do the place full justice, it's even better irl. We were very happy staying here and would return.

We had a last minute change in plans and truckee vacation rentals was fantastic in finding a place for the family wedding. The place was amazing I would recommend the vacation home to anyone with a large family. I wish I could remember the name of the lady that helps us she was great and so helpful.

This house is much larger than you might imagine and good for big families or a large group. It is efficiently laid out, in a quiet neighborhood and was a great spot to spend time in Tahoe. We enjoyed our stay!

Perfect!
Incredible place. We fit 13 people really comfortably and there were three comfy large couches to sleep on if needed. Two and a half baths which was also great. Hot tub was solid. We were far enough from neighbors that we couldn’t hear anyone else. It was easy to reach the property managers whenever we had questions. Place was super clean and had everything we needed (grill, hot tub, multiple TVs, two small outdoor balconies, etc.). Place was a quick drive to most spots and about 5 minutes to downtown Truckee.

We camenfor a wedding at Grey’s Crossing and needed a place for 9. The property perfectly met our experience expectations. The check in was easy and we had all the amenities we needed. The location was also close to Truckee and we enjoyed our time there as well. Loved the hot tub. I would recommend nicer patio furniture but there were sufficient chairs for all-just a bit basic. Beds were comfortable and bedding was lovely. I would definitely recommend this property.

Four families converged to stay in Truckee Timbers. We had multiple children in our family who pretty much spent the entire trip outside of the house building snow forts, sledding, and having snowball fights. We loved that the house had enough land around it that the kids could play and entertain themselves without having to go to a park. The house was clean with plenty of cookware to make meals. Overall we were very happy with our stay and would stay here again.

This was my second week staying at the rental within s month. The first week it was rented by a family member and the second week by me. The home was clean and served our families needs. Location was okay, though noisy from freeway traffic and construction. The first week there we went to use the spa and found the water was cloudy, so we didn't use it. We were only given one key for the residence and the garage code supplied by VG did not work, this issue went unresolved and made it difficult with two families and only one key. On our second week stay the spa issue was resolved, though the garage code wasn't resolved until 3. Days left in our 8 day stay. The BBQ was not cleaned and left us wondering about the cleaning service. When we discovered dirty or stained towels my wife just washed everything before the rest of our family arrived. Unfortunately I did not realize that the home did not come with any passes to use Gray Crosding ammrenitities, luckily a family friend let us use passes for Tahoe Donner, which saved the vacation. -

We were busy during the day enjoying water rafting on the Trukee River, paddle boarding at Donner Lake, zip lining, and hiking. It sure was nice to have a wonderful place to return to. We rented this home for a January ski weekend. The home is terrific. Good layout for a family or even potentially two. Lower level has a large room with ping pong table / couch / large TV - perfect for kids. Lots of "little things" that matter - heated floors, good utensils and wine glasses in kitchen, good BBQ on upper deck. There is a hot tub on the lower level which was not advertised as part of the listing and not filled with water when we visited. We had an issue trying to get the TVs to work (fairly complicated setup), called Tahoe Getaways and they met us at our desired time (after skiing) and had it resolved ASAP - the reason we like to rent through property management companies. Great experience all around. Will rent again.

We had a great time over the labor day weekend (2014) at this property. Very spacious living room and modern appliances and BBQ. If your idea is to spend time with family and friends and socialize this is one of the good choices in Tahoe area. Few complaints hopefully they get fixed. 1. Main level gets too hot in the nights and we could not sleep there I guess something to do with heater settings. 2. No shades/shutters for windows in restroom kind of scares you as people traveling on the China Camp Road can literally see you through these windows (Although you can rarely see anyone going through this road as there are only two or three houses up hill).
